FD - FORMAL DECORATIVE - Petals are flat, even regulare placement throughout the flower

ID - INFORMAL DECORATIVE - Petals are twisted or curled, generally flat, regular placement of flower

IC - INCURVED CACTUS - More that half of petal is rolled with tips curving toward center of flower

SC - SEMI CACTUS - Flat petals at base, straight, incurved for half of their length

 C - STRAIGHT CACTUS - Straight or curved for more than half of their lenght, in all directions from center of flower

P - POMPON - Almost round shape double flowers quilled petals 2" or less in size

S - SINGLE - Single row of flat petals surrounding the disc

CO - COLLARETTE - Single row of flat or slightly curved petals surrounding disc, Inner set of petals forming a collar around disc.

AN - ANEMONE - One or more rows of flat petals around a group of colored elongated disc florets

BA - BALL - Double flowers, ball shape, may be slightly flat on top, florets blunt, rounded or indented, spiral

WL - WATERLILY - Closed center multiple rows of petals, broad and flat or slightly incurved

LC - LACINATED - Petals are split at ends to give it a fringed look
