Wedding

In 2008 mom & I had the honor and privilege of decorationg my youngest son's wedding.  It was alot of fun, work and very stressfull. As all of you know, an outside wedding has its issues.  We met them all.  The wedding was August 31 at 4:00 pm.  The week before the wedding all it did was rain, I was stressing out because the rain was beating the dahlias up pretty good.  I was sure that we would not have any left for the wedding.  Mom said.  'Don't worry, we will have enough to pick and the colors that we need."   Well we picked the garden almost clean, got what we could use and packed them up. What flowers we needed to buy we got from our local florist in Burlington at Melody's.  Thank You Melody.

The morning of the wedding it started to sprinkle, but as luck would have it, the sun came out and the wind subsided and it was a perfect day.

The flowers we used from our fields were   Zingaro, Tampa, Touche, Watercolor, Switzers Kerkrade, My Love and Summers Sunset. We also used Roses, Snapdragons, Gladiolas, Lilies and ferns from Melody's Floral.

We thought you might like to take a peek and see how it turned out.
